This core material Sphere.tex is based on a woven fabric made of E-glass fi bers which are embedded and volumized with thermoplastic microspheres. Due to its excellent forming characteristics, low resin consumption and high mechanical properties combined with low weight, it is well-suited for producing high-tech GRP parts, also in combination with reinforcement layers of carbon or aramid.
Sphere.tex HT has an improved resistance to higher temperatures as well as higher compressive strength during the manufacturing process. It is suitable for all resin systems, including epoxy and polyester foam resins.
Suitable for light and strong high-tech FRP parts.
